one of my favorite things is to look at studio spaces of artists. recently i ran into arrestedmotion’s visit to chloe early’s studio. early is one of my favorite painters so this was quite the pleasant surprise. things to love: paint everywhere, bright interiors, color clutter, leftover paint from previous pieces. i have a weakness for studios that show proof of past work.
let’s see. we have some sketchbooks, an old chopped up project, folders, a moleskin, wallet, pencil case, coin purse, the phone, the pod, some green tea that neither looks nor tastes like green tea, and a book that i still need to read from for tomorrow morning. yay for busy backgrounds.
lately things have been going really fast while at the same time it all feels really slow. being stressed for projects and whatnot and feeling that time is not flying by fast enough is quite an interesting battle in your brain.
